Dori DeCamillis Bio

Dori received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and art history from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has over 30 years experience making and selling art and has exhibited in outdoor shows, galleries and museums all over the United States, including solo shows at the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Mobile Museum of Art, and the Huntsville Museum of Art in Alabama. For the past 12 years she has been co-owner and art instructor at Red Dot Gallery in Birmingham where she has taught over a thousand people to paint and draw. She has lectured extensively about her work, and taught workshops in venues including churches, galleries, schools, museums, and the Alabama Folk School.
