Dori received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has over 25 years painting

experience and has exhibited in galleries and museums all over the United States, including a solo show at the

Birmingham Museum of Art. The Mobile Museum of Art will host a solo show of her work in 2011. More about Dori.

class description
For people who claim they can't draw a stick figure and seasoned artists who want to sharpen their skills and

talk about their work. My approach is to cater the course to the individual; students can explore and be guided

through the subject matter and styles they choose, or request a tailored plan designed by me.

Classes are limited to 8 students.

Each course is 6 weeks long and meets once a week. Students can start at any time; I have a one-room

schoolhouse method that supports beginners and advanced students alike. Price is $120 per 6 week session.

Painting students may purchase a starter kit of supplies from Red Dot Gallery at the first session for $45 dollars

Students are allowed one free missed class per six week session.

The following instructors have studied under Dori DeCamillis for several years and are trained to teach the same

effective and encouraging techniques as their teacher. They were hand-picked to instruct at Red Dot because of

their painting expertise, excellent people skills, and individual style. Class descriptions and prices are the same

as Dori's, above.

jeanne alexander - oil painting - Monday, 12:30 to 2:30 pm

For beginners and intermediate oil painters, with a special empasis in portraiture if student is interested. No

laura kimes - oil painting - Monday 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, 12:30 to 2:30 pm

For beginners and intermediate oil painters. Laura is profient as an accurate realist painter, and has the most

kristin martin - oil painting k- Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 pm

For beginners and intermediate oil painters, with an emphasis on fresh, painterly, and abstract techniques, if
